The extensions for Analysis Services, Integration Services, and Reporting Services projects are currently unavailable for Visual Studio 2022. With SQL Server Data Tools, you create SQL Server Analysis Services projects that contain definitions of SQL Server Analysis Services objects (cubes, dimensions, and so on), which are stored. The core SSDT functionality to create database projects has remained integral to Visual Studio. SQL Server Data Tools is a development environment, based on Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, used for creating and modifying business intelligence solutions. As mentioned in the official documentation: This video points the way to installing the SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) and the SQL Server BI Data Tools (Also SSDT, go figure) into Visual Studio 2019. In case the SSIS toolbox is not showing the SSIS tasks and components, from the Visual Studio menu strip, Go To: Tools' > Options > Environment > On the General Tab > DISABLE 'Optimize rendering for screens with different pixel. Using Visual Studio 2022, only the SQL Server Data Tools required to create database projects are currently available. Integration Services extension for Visual Studio is installed correctly, and the SSIS toolbox is empty.
